Program Manager: Sara Barnes

Lee Woodward Counseling Center (LWCC) provides intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment services to women, specifically with outreach to pregnant women and women with children. We provide a safe haven where women and children can rebuild their lives through a program of recovery and learn to break the intergenerational cycle of addiction.

Women working with women contribute to the safety and openness at LWCC. We believe that women are each other's greatest support when addressing painful issues significant to us. Through group, individual, family and couples counseling women begin to heal from the traumas of their past and achieve recovery. LWCC is certified to serve women who are dual diagnosed with mental health concerns in addition to substance abuse. We are a safe place for survivors of sexual assault and support women in all stages of recovery. Therapeutic childcare is provided on site so the women are able to focus on recovery without worrying about proper care of their children. In addition to process, groups offered include anger management, domestic violence, grief and loss, depression, 12-steps and relapse prevention.

At Lee Woodward Counseling Center women and families are provided with tools, guidance, and love to create lives shaped by their own most cherished hopes and dreams. It is an environment where staff as well as clients can collectively, and individually grow as self-determined women free of alcohol and other drugs.
